A quick note on this watercolor painting, which was originally created in my sketchbook Feb. 24, 2025:
 
"For the past three months, my daughter Alma has been sleeping in my studio, which meant late-night painting sessions in the studio had to be put on hold for a season. But we finally moved her into Raphael’s room, so long story short — I have my studio back in the evenings!
 
Last night, I celebrated having this space back by painting this sketchbook piece, and I loved every moment of it. Lately, I’ve been listening to the Lord of the Rings audiobooks while I paint, and I found myself drawn in by the themes of shadow vs. light and fear vs. hope as the Hobbits follow Smeagol into Mordor. (I’m completely serious — these books have been inspiring me so much! 😂)"

Borderless fine art giclee reproduction of my original botanical watercolor painting. My prints are made on textured 100% cotton archival paper that will last for many years to come. Please note that the crop may vary slightly between different sizes.
 
Prints will be shipped flat between cardboard to prevent damage during transit. Prints larger than 11x14 will be gently rolled and shipped in a mailer tube.

Since my prints are made to order from my little home studio, please allow 5-10 business days for your order to ship.
