Hello! I'm Shealeen Louise,
A little about me: I'm a mama of 2 littles, a Jesus follower, a high desert dweller, and a botanical watercolor artist. Since 2015, I’ve made painting a nearly daily practice, and it’s become a truly transformative part of my life. I LOVE connecting with others who share that passion.
After spending years dipping my toes into different creative outlets, I felt the tug to go all in with watercolor, and florals quickly became my favorite subject.
Over time, I've learned so much and had the privilege of teaching thousands of students to fall in love with watercolor painting.
One of my greatest joys is seeing that transformation from total beginner to, "Wow, I can’t believe I painted this!"

Gain a deeper understanding of how watercolor works
I created a 7-day mini-course called Watercolor Building Blocks, this foundational course is designed to equip beginner artists with the tools they need to confidently create with watercolor. If you're a more experienced artist, my hope is that this course offers a chance to revisit core techniques and refine your approach.
Each day includes a new exercise for you to try and the challenge starts when doors open. You can begin on any day you join and go at your own pace!
What supplies will I need?
Bring what you have and we will supplement your supplies list as we go! My advice is to start simply and grow over time. A simple set of colors, several round brushes in various sizes, and cold press paper is enough to get you started.
When will I be billed?
The day you sign up, and on that same day each subsequent month. For annual plans, it will be the same day each year. For exampe, if you sign up April 27, 2025, you will be billed again April 27, 2026.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes! You can cancel your membership at anytime. Please keep in mind that the prices may change when doors open again.
Can I sell paintings I make from your tutorials?
Yes! You may sell or give away your tutorial paintings. I encourage you to share the art wherever you would like, I just ask that you give me credit if you post the work online. (Please & Thank you!) :)
