A little about me

I'm Shealeen Louise, a botanical watercolor painter and educator. I have taught thousands of students over the past several years, and I've been able to witness the joy and confidence that comes with learning and growing as an artist. There's a myth that watercolor is the "hardest" type of paint to use. I'll show you how easy it is, and teach you how to paint with intention and confidence.

Creating smooth gradients

I use a special and FUN technique to create smooth gradients with watercolor. This is a great one to have in your watercolor toolbox!

mixing colors and creating depth

I show you some simple mixtures that you can use again and again. We'll work in layers to use those paint mixtures to bring depth to your art!
