PICTURE THIS:
You wake up each morning eager to paint, and finally find a rhythm of creating that fits your current season of life.

Painting feels amazing because you finally understand how watercolor works — not just how to follow a tutorial.

You’re finishing paintings you love — hanging them on your walls, gifting them to loved ones, and sharing them with the world.

You’re surrounded by a community of kind, creative women who truly “get it” — a place to show up imperfectly and celebrate progress together.

You’re connected to the creative part of who you are, growing in confidence and consistency, and developing your own unique style.

WITH A GUIDED FOUNDATIONS COURSE, PERSONAL GUIDANCE, AND A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY OF ARTISTS, YOU’LL HAVE EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO STOP OVERTHINKING AND START PAINTING WITH CONFIDENCE.

I’VE SPOKEN WITH SO MANY WOMEN IN YOUR SHOES, AND I HEAR THE SAME THEMES AGAIN AND AGAIN:
“I have all the supplies, but I still feel lost.”
"I struggle with perfectionism, I need my art to be just so or I feel disappointed."

“Work and family obligations make it hard to stay consistent.”

“I can't help but compare my art to others.”

“I should be so much better than I am at this point.”

“I wish I had people to paint with — without pressure.”

"I have no idea how to find my own style."

Hello! I'm Shealeen Louise
I’m a mama of two and a self-taught watercolor artist living in the high desert of New Mexico. Floral watercolor has brought me so much joy, and I love connecting with others who love it too.

Over the years, I’ve developed my own style and approach to painting and teaching, and I’ve loved helping students around the world fall in love with watercolor.

More than anything, I love helping people build confidence, make time for art, and experience that moment of: “Wait… I painted this?!”

Want to know the *real* key to creative growth? It's consistency, not talent.
Inside Bloom, you begin with a guided path called “Bloom Foundations”
This course will give you a clear place to get started, without any pressure or overwhelm.

You don’t need to paint every day, be naturally talented, or follow a strict schedule.

You just follow the path, get support along the way, and grow steadily as an artist.

When you join Bloom, you’ll go through "Bloom Foundations" with me — which is a simple, four-phase path.
Bloom Foundations is built around four core pillars:

Confidence — learn how to let go of perfectionism, and discover the true key to confidence as an artist.
Skills — understand how watercolor actually works, so you’re no longer guessing, and finally experiencing flow.
Consistency — build a simple painting habit that fits your life, without relying on motivation.
Expression — start trusting your own taste so your paintings begin to feel like you.

Hi all, happy to be here.. 5 years ago I was experiencing the worst work related burnout that I’ve ever experienced. Nothing filled my cup. I spent so much time scrolling on instagram just to try and pass the time. And then I found Shealeen’s art and I was so inspired by it that I began to pour myself into watercolour. I’ve never been much of a creative type - even struggling with drawing simple stick figures, but all I knew was that watercolour was slowly filling my cup. Five years later, I am still pouring into my cup and I’ve never looked back.

Shealeen your lessons have taken my art to the next level, I often get stuck in the ugly phase. I didn't know the importance of getting the drawing right before paint. I am learning so much I can't get enough of your lessons. (attached is Salome's painting!)

Aw Shealeen! I just ordered some paints and things and really excited to start!!! Your post about your grandma’s paintings touched my heart because I used to love to paint as a little girl. My grandpa was a graphic artist so I would play in his studio and he’d give me little tips and ideas etc. he recently passed but I am trying to come back to things that fill my cup and art used to be one of them!! Thank you for what you do and for creating a way for me to reconnect to something I love.
